Remember Project: 50 Questions? The list of questions I was answering here in an effort to make Snap, Crackle, Pop more thoughtful? Well, the more I read the questions, the more I find some of them silly. My next one would be, “How come the things that make you happy don’t make everyone happy?” This is common sense, and I don’t want to answer it.
So I’m ditching the project — but keeping my Read It series. Which this is. Forgive this brief interruption.
- Book shelf! — That’s as in “shelf made of book,” not “shelf of books.” Julie ann art compiled a list of ways to recycle old books, and that shelf? My heart swoons!
- Marbled nails — Remember that DIY sponsor post I ran a last month about newspaper nails? Steph and I totally tried it the last time we hung out, and it roooocked. (See photo for proof!) Well, this reminds me of that. Oh Keiko Lynn, how do you come up with this stuff?? So want to try marbling for an upcoming wedding I’m in.
- I’m all about being shameless — Things I Can’t Say ran this guest post by Diaries of a Grateful Grumpy Mom that just made me happy. I’m all about folks not taking themselves too seriously, and this list of “It’s OK”s is pretty stellar.
- Stop the skinny girl hate — You’ve undoubtedly seen the “Marilyn Monroe is prettier than this anorexic girl” photo circulating Facebook, and how easy it to to see that and say, “Damn skippy!”? But !!!Gebhart!!! actually breaks it down. And I gotta say: She’s right.
So stop by these rockin’ blogs and say hello!
