Fill in the blank Friday

14 Oct

I haven’t linked up over at the little things we do  for a while, and I’m so happy to do so this Friday. Click on over to read more or to blog your own answers.

The most selfless thing I’ve ever done is … Oooh, I love this one so much, in part because I’m with “Friends” — there’s no such thing as “selfless,” unless we do something that brings us zero joy and someone else lots of joy. I have a few things that immediately come to mind, but in each case, I felt really good after doing this “selfless” deed that the act inherently became selfish.

When it comes to working out I loathe it, hugely. Though for the last two or three weeks, I’ve walked three or four times a week. That’s HUGE for me. I can always find better things to do, like read. Or eat.

A woman should always know her value and be able to graciously accept a compliment.

I wish I could travel to Italy tomorrow and then I’d get to be in Italy tomorrow.

A best friend is someone who knows the difference between when to be honest with you even if you don’t want to hear it and when to just bite her tongue because right now, all you need is a hug.

I can’t get enough cheesy poofs. They’re like flavored puffs of air. They’re inherently light.

This weekend I am setting up some goodies to sell at a local Autism Speaks walk and going antiquing with a friend.

Pick a blank and fill it for me in the comments, s’il vous plait!

I can’t get enough time to myself. I am reduced to hiding in the bathroom to get 5 minutes by myself and sometimes the kids follow me in there too. BTW, “poofs” has a whole different meaning in Australia. Very funny!
