Over the past few months, I’ve won a number of amazing giveaways, and I want to make sure to give all these fantastic companies and businesses a shout out.
First thing’s first: The hands-down best goodie I won? Custom stickers from UPrinting.com. The company is soooo good at contacting bloggers for giveaways (I’ve held one, and I’ve seen myriad others), and they often seem to have low entries. I have no idea why — the stickers I designed for my packages retail for $40. They’re beautiful, and they’re incredible quality — perfect to help market your blog or shop. (Also, I’m tearing up my e-mail and Google trying to figure out which blog I won these stickers from … I’m at a total loss.)
Sticking with Jaclyn1423 marking stuff: I’m still navigating Klout, but Kate over at Suburban Sweetheart alerted me to a very cool feature — perks. Perks are free stuff Klout gives to users with a certain amount of Klout. I’m not a 30 Rock watcher, so I sent my free Season 4 DVD to Kate as a thank you for letting me know about the free goodies waiting for me … and then I claimed my free Mini MOO cards. The tiny business cards are long and skinny and on thick, wonderful quality paper. I was able to upload pictures of my jewelry off Etsy, so every card has a different image on it. (In retrospect, I should have used like five images total because not all the photos translated well on the tiny card, but live and learn.)
Christmas gift time! I received two gorgeous prints by Kimberly Glesenkamp over at Screaming Sardine. Kimberly is a Christian-themed artist, and my prints are a beautiful Christmastime dove and a gorgeous leaf print.
Lastly, I won this amazing tank top by Etta Grace over at Much Love, Illy. I love the bow detailing in the back and the tiny bit of fabric at the side. If you buy this, definitely go a size up. My poor medium was much too small on me (though when I tried it on for the beau, his eyes bugged out of his face and he said, “I like it!”). I sent it back so someone else a tad smaller than I can enjoy it. To give you a comparison if you’re looking to deck yourself out with an amazing and feminine tank: I’m an 8/10, and a large would definitely be my size.
P.S. If you haven’t signed up for the Jaclyn1423 newsletter, you can do so here. I plan to send it out about once a month. It’ll be a short deal highlighting the new goodies in the Etsy shop over the previous month … and it just might include some special coupon codes and giveaways.
P.P.S. (P.S.S.?) Have you entered the Jaclyn1423 giveaway over at Sandy a la Mode yet?
