Auction No. 12: Multi-wear necklace

9 Aug

Last year, the fantastic Ann from Knitty Kittie donated one of her fiber necklaces for Joey’s Auction. It started a bit of a bidding war. So I’m oh-so-happy to bring you another of her lovely necklaces for the 2011 auction!

Ann says:

This is a silky, lightweight necklace perfect for all seasons. This Sparkling Champagne FreeStyle Fiber and Bead Necklace has black fiber with blocks of gold, cream and bright white. The old world beads are gold and silver. The beads may vary slightly in shape or size, but they will be same colors as shown in photo.
Seven old world beads separate the fiber chains and the single strands. A bead attached at the end of the piece can be moved along the strands to shorten or lengthen the necklace, making it adjustable and able to be worn several ways.

Position the end bead at the back of the neck with the chain beaded section in the front and wear the FreeStyle long or short, or wear the necklace with the end bead in the front, lariat style. The FreeStyle can also be turned to the side with the chain section to the back, the plain strands in the front and all beads showing.

Find Ann on Twitter @KnittyKittie. This auction will be open through the morning of Aug. 11.
