Quoted and noted: On falling in weird

6 Jun

“We’re all a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love.”

I’m finding a few sources who think Dr. Seuss said that, but the reporter in me is calling “bullshit” on that. That being said … I have no idea who said this. Maybe Dr. Seuss really did. But I doubt it.

(On a related note, I read this story on a CNN religion blog  earlier today, also about misattributing quotes called “Actually, that’s not in the Bible.”)

(Wow, lots of “that’s NOT what she said” going on today. The Christian Science Monitor has a great slide show of the top 10 things famous people did NOT say.)

I'd love to hear what you think!
