Getting creative with rocks, paper and scissors

13 Dec

You hear that businesses rely on holidays sales to keep going through the rest of the year, but you don’t really understand it unless people are purchasing gifts from you.

In December so far, Jaclyn1423 has made 10 sales. I don’t typically make that in two months, and it’s only Dec. 13. If you look at the number of items in my shop, however, they’re not going down; that’s because seven of those 10 sales are rock/paper/scissors necklaces. Seriously, give my sold items a look; it’s shocking how many threesome bff sets there are!

The cool part? People are getting so creative with the sets. One woman ordered six necklaces, but with no scissors — three had rocks with an initial and three had paper with an initial.

Another asked for her charms and initials to be on key chains.

I’m so happy with how they turned out!

Another buyer told me she and her best friend regularly use rock/paper/scissors to settle arguments, so she asked for two necklaces each with all three charms, along with a “1” and a “2.”

Aren’t they cute?!

While I love the idea of buying handmade gifts, how sweet is it to get something that personal? And I’m so happy and honored to be able to customize these pieces for people. It’s very humbling to know my jewelry is going to be apart of others’ holidays.
