Remember Kathleen Bartels, of Louisville, Kent., from yesterday’s double earring auction? She’s back, and this time, with a lovely blue and silver bracelet.
What: This glass butterfly bracelet is made using a decorative weave known as butterfly. The colored rings are Czech pressed glass. The ones in the picture are cobalt blue, but I can put in any color you want. This is made of aluminum, which is super lightweight and has the added bonus of not tarnishing.
How long: I’ve been crafting my whole life. My family’s idea of fun is to sit around and do things like this! I got started on chain maille about 3 1/2 years ago.
Where: I sell my jewelry to anyone who wants to buy it! I operate an Etsy shop and occasionally do craft shows. I’ll be in Kokomo, Ind. with Beads by Lori and Sara later this year. You will also soon be able to find me in selected Art-o-Mat machines around the world! I can also be found on Facebook and Twitter.
Why: Aside from the fact that I love Jaclyn to pieces and would do most anything she asked, I believe that this is a great cause and a great way to make a difference!
This auction will be open until 11.59 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 8. Each day through the 14th, I will post two to three auctions. If you like the item up for grabs, place your bid in the comments, and be sure to leave your e-mail address so I can contact you should you win. Each item will be a separate post, and each post will indicate when that particular auction is over.
