Joey’s Auction 2: Decoupage photo box

1 Aug

Meet crafter Melanie, of Liberty Township, Ohio.

What: This decoupage photo box is about 6x8x4 1/2-inches and is the perfect size for storing 4×6 photos or any other small items that need a home. It is covered in colorful, coordinating scrapbook paper that has been decoupaged to turn a boring storage box into a multi-purpose storage decoration. The inside of the box is lined in colorful paper also, so there’s no need to add another box with a boring inside to your collection! There is also a spot on the lid for a wallet-sized photo to be displayed.

How long?: I have had an interest in crafts my whole life, but decoupage is a new hobby that I have fallen in love with! There is so much you can do with it!

Why did you agree to donate?: I am donating because it is a great cause, and it’s the least I can do to help out Joey and others at his school.

This auction will be open until 11.59 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3. Each day through the 14th, I will post two to three auctions. If you like the item up for grabs, place your bid in the comments, and be sure to leave your e-mail address so I can contact you should you win. Each item will be a separate post, and each post will indicate when that particular auction is over.
