Today thus far

31 Mar

5:40 a.m. — I wake up from a bad dream. In this bad dream, the beau informed me that he wanted to go hang out in a hot tub with a chubby, unattractive redhead. Why is it when you’re upset in a dream, that “upset” can last hours to the point where it’s nearly impossible to fall back asleep?

One of the goodies you'll find shortly at

8:30 a.m. — My alarm goes off. It’s time to get ready for work. The sun is beautifully shining. The bad feelings from the dream linger but are quickly overpowered by the sunshine. I love that a giant ball of gas billions of miles away has the ability to do this.

9.30 a.m. — Start work. Not terribly eventful, but once again, the sun is shining and I am happy.

3 p.m. — I need to do some research, and I head to a local bookstore, where I know there are shelves and shelves of old yearbooks. In the midst of the research, I think, “Hmmmm.” I’m not local to my area, but the beau is. I quickly find his senior high school year book and can barely pick him out. If it weren’t for his unusually shaped eyes, I’d have had no idea which skinny, smiley dude on page 40 he’d have been. This amuses me to no end, and I promptly call him to tell him. He shares that he’s been staring at the pretty weather from his office window all afternoon. I tell him I walked to the bookstore. He tells me I suck. Ahhh, young love.

4:15 p.m. — I head out of said local bookstore and am glad, once again, I decided to walk.

5:10 p.m. — Leave work. Go to Kohl’s. Discover $22 in leftover Kohl’s money back from Christmas gifts. Have fun.

6:30 p.m. — Get home, eat my Wendy’s, start to take pictures of jewelry, some of which will be posted shortly, some of which will be posted at 11:30 tonight. (Joey’s Hot Dogs are coming! Can you stand it? Aren’t you at least dying to know what the heck a “Joey’s Hot Dog” is?). Take photos of jewelry to be posted and go to pull out some earrings I need to send to a buyer.

I have NO idea where they went. I keep all my completed jewelry together, and these were a pair I made a while ago, so I know for sure they should be there. In fact, I remember laying them out the last time I had all my jewelry displayed, at a party a friend held for me a month or two back. My mind immediately goes to, “Some ho did NOT steal my earrings.” And really, I don’t think anyone did. But I will proceed to tear my apartment apart looking for them. If I am unable to find them, I may have to concede that some ho did, in fact, steal my earrings.
