I am in my pajamas, my soft white robe and my pink fuzzy slippers. I am in a cushioned rocking chair with my feet up on a footstool. I am in the sun room with the curtains on all three huge windows wide open.
The room is a mess, as this has kind of served as a catch-all for the stuff we’re not yet sure where to put. I see no fewer than 11 blankets and comforters stacked up a couch, two wooden folding chairs, a little red cart that used to be in my kitchen, a small plastic trashcan with a hot pink striped table cloth stored in it and a vintage coat tree with a bunch of my bags hanging from it.
The lap top is on my lap, and Norah Jones is playing from its speakers (“Sunrise” for now). I am getting ready to post the first new items in Jac & Elsie in about three weeks.
Tonight, Jeff’s brother and sister-in-law — and, I suppose, my in-laws to-be — are going to dinner before they come over for game night.
I am so content. May your Saturday mornings be equally so.

I love your happy posts
